Common Costs

The Warriors is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to development and growth of youth lacrosse in the Bloomington-Normal area. The following is an outline to help you better understand the costs associated with lacrosse. As with most sports, additional equipment and higher quality options are available for the more serious players. Financial assistance is also available.

The primary costs include registration fees, US Lacrosse membership, and equipment.  

US Lacrosse Membership

The Warriors require all players to hold a valid US Lacrosse membership. Membership fees depend on age. Membership includes supplemental insurance and subscription to the US Lacrosse magazine.

Initial Equipment

Both local and online stores offer equipment to help get new players started. Locally you can find equipment at Dick's Sporting Goods.  Online stores and some in store options for "starter kits" can be an affordable way to begin. Girls have less equipment than boys because the girl's game has less contact. For the Warriors, we encourage players to purchase white helmets for team consistency.
