Co-ed Instructional Group:

The Co-ed Instructional Team is designed to teach the basics of throwing, catching and field movement. It is intended to get our youngest players comfortable with basics so they can enjoy the sport.

This is an instructional team that will practice two days a week. The team will have the option participate in coach-refereed friendly games with other teams in our league.

Participants will be provided a t-shirt as part of the registration.

Proper equipment is required for the instructional group. See below for details on equipment and rentals.
Coaches and Assistant Coaches/Practice Assistants

We are always seeking coaches at all levels. You do not need to have lacrosse experience to be a coach. Training, practice plans and other resources are available. A US Lacrosse number is required for Head Coaches, fees are reimbursable.

US Lacrosse Registration:
- All players must be members in good standing with US Lacrosse in order to play. US Lacrosse governs the sport and provides supplementary medical insurance coverage to all our players, and includes a subscription to US Lacrosse Magazine

Registration Fees:
- Warriors Lacrosse is a 501c3 corporation. Registration fees cover costs related to field use and maintenance, equipment, referees fees, CILAX League Fees, tournaments, and administrative expenses.
- Fees entitle regular season players to a 3 piece lacrosse uniforms, 26+ practices, 10-12 games, field rentals, year-end celebration, and tons of fun and excitement!
Financial Assistance:
Warriors Lacrosse is committed to encouraging participation of young people in the sport of lacrosse, regardless of financial means. Financial assistance is available for players. Please contact bnwarriors@gmail to ensure eligibility.
Equipment: Every player must have the proper lacrosse equipment to participate in practice and games.
Girls: Lacrosse stick, goggles and mouthguard
Boys: Helmet, shoulder pads, arm pads, gloves, lacrosse stick, mouthguard, and protective athletic cup.
Note: The Warriors helmet color is white, if you are purchasing a helmet for your player, white is encouraged.
Rental Equipment:
Warriors Lacrosse will have a limited supply rental equipment available. If you are interested in renting equipment for the season or continuting your rental from Winter Clinic, be sure to select the rental options during registration. Footwear, mouthguards and athletic supporters are not inculded in the rental packages.
Season Schedule:
Practices begin in mid-March, games begin in April, and culminate with the post-season in late May. All team games and practice schedules will be published on the Warriors web site Calendar and on each team's individual calendar under the Teams section. The tenative schedules are published in our team calendar but are subject to change based on league registraion and weather. You may subscribe to the team calendars to sync them with your personal calendar.

Fundraising:
Warriors Lacrosse is a 501c3 corporation. We rely on fundrasing to run the club, provide rental equipment and to supplement rising rosts. Please support our club by purchasing from our online store (opens seasonally, check the Online Store link under the Home tab). You can help support your Club and spread the word by buying team spirit wear! Donations to the Warriors Lacrosse Club are tax deductible; we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, ID# 45-4342846.
Volunteer Help/Buyout Option: Warriors Lacrosse is a 100% volunteer organization. To run the club we need volunteers! Every family must commit to volunteer up to 4 hours over the course of the season. We encourage you to take part in our volunteer buyout option of $80 per family for those who cannot commit to the time commitment of a volunteer position. Families which fail to do their volunteer work during the course of the season may be charged this buyout fee at the end of the season.
New Coaches and Assistant Coaches Needed! We are making a plea to all new or current parents (coaching experience from other sports is preferred but not required, and especially seeking those of you with lacrosse experience) with kids that are playing this year: Please consider volunteering to be an assistant coach. We will teach you the game and hopefully in a year or two you can be ready to take over a team of your own. We will provide coaching clinics, assistance and whatever else is needed to have a successful season. The Warriors are committed to the development of our volunteer coaches. All coaches will receive a reimbursement towards the cost of getting their level 1 certification and US Lacrosse membership.
